One studio. Three disciplines. One system of orchestration.
FabricaFuturo exists to turn industrial environments into integrated systems — where strategy, architecture and technology work as one, not as three separate suppliers.
Every discipline we practice — strategy, architecture, engineering — exists to answer one question: how do you turn an industrial site into a strategic asset, for good.
Founder & Expertise
75
years of experience. Three disciplines. One school: Politecnico di Torino. Brand strategy and phygital experience. Architecture and urban regeneration. Industrial research and technology innovation. Three founders of the same age, bound by a friendship that began at school and in the lecture halls of the Politecnico, and by one conviction: the factory can become a company's most compelling place, for people, talent and capital.
Carlo Perosino
Co-founder, CEO & Envision Leader
An architect trained at Politecnico di Torino, Carlo has spent twenty-five years where brand strategy, space and technology meet: from brand vision to the design of physical and digital experiences. He was a Partner at ITALIABRANDGROUP until its acquisition by EY in 2017, then Chief Design Officer at EY Studio for Consumer Product, Retail and Luxury. In Saudi Arabia he shaped the citizen experience and spatial style of the concept for the new service centres of Gov.sa, the Saudi government services system; in Dubai he was part of EY's pitch for the Museum of the Future visitor experience. He served as Design Director of Principle Creative Italia, part of Principle Global, and founded SPACE18. His clients include Ferrari, Jeep, Juventus, Moët Hennessy and Eni. At FabricaFuturo he brings the strategic vision: turning the production site into a brand experience.
Paolo Dondo
Co-founder · Innovation & Industrial Technology
An electronic engineer trained at Politecnico di Torino, Paolo has spent twenty-five years in industrial innovation. He built the first part of his career at Centro Ricerche Fiat before taking on responsibility for strategic planning of the Fiat Group's innovation centres and for R&D in EMEA. Since 2015 he has worked as an independent consultant for MESAP, Piedmont's innovation cluster for mechatronics and smart manufacturing, where business, research and technology transfer meet. He contributes to Italy's National Technology Cluster Intelligent Factory and sits on the Technical-Scientific Committee of ITS Academy Mobilità Sostenibile — Aerospace/Mechatronics. He believes in practical innovation, which earns its value when it becomes results, skills and production capacity. At FabricaFuturo he is the orchestrator of industrial ecosystems, connecting SMEs, large companies, universities, research centres and institutions.
Enrico Daffonchio
Co-founder · Architecture & Regeneration
Born in Tortona and trained as an architect at Politecnico di Torino, Enrico has been building Daffonchio + Associates Architects in Johannesburg since the early 1990s: an award-winning practice with more than 250 completed projects across Southern Africa over twenty-five years. His work includes Maboneng Precinct, 120,000 m² of regeneration in Johannesburg's inner city and a World Architecture Festival finalist, and Victoria Yards, the adaptive reuse of an industrial complex recognised by the Urban Land Institute in 2020. The Bank in Rosebank received a GIFA Award of Excellence, and his work has been exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale. Architect and developer in one, he acquires land, structures the financing and builds. At FabricaFuturo he brings the ability to turn production buildings into living, sustainable places.
